The EMCSD Facilities Department completed their installation of brand new hand washing and bottle filling stations across all 14 campuses to coincide with new Covid-19 safety recommendations. Before the District closed for Thanksgiving Break, the El Monte City School District Nutrition Services Department celebrated their amazing staff for providing meals to the community throughout the pandemic. In attendance were representatives from Gold Star Foods who also recognized the Nutrition Services team with a custom plaque and giveaways.

iFoster has partnered with Learn To Be - a national nonprofit that provides one-on-one virtual tutoring in any subject for foster students in K-12th grade. Their partnership means free tutoring to foster students and families who are members of iFoster. Membership is free, click headline for more details!

El Monte City School District's Nutrition Services Department will only be distributing meal boxes on Monday, November 23rd from 8am - 10am at Durfee, Potrero, and Shirpser. All children 18 & under qualify for a meal box. Regular meal schedule resumes Monday, November 30th after the District's Thanksgiving Break.
